Canon set up an Environment Headquarters to promote concerted environmentally conscious management among Group companies worldwide. The Environment Planning Center and Environment Promotion Center were established under this headquarters in 2008 in order to strengthen our organizational framework. Canon also created the Global Environment Strategic Expert Committee under the auspices the Management Strategy Committee.
